We’re thrilled to share a successful installation with Fermanagh and Omagh District Council! 🌱

On 18 December 2025, Justin Vievermanns from Plant-e visited Blacklion to provide installation training for the SensorSticks. Together with Roisin Black and Jack burns from Fermanagh & Omagh District Council, they installed two SensorSticks on Cuilcagh Mountain at Cuilcagh Lakelands UNESCO Global Geopark. Thanks to the straightforward and user-friendly installation process, the final SensorStick was later installed independently by Roisin, without Plant-e onsite support.

The installation location was particularly memorable: right on the border between Northern Ireland and Ireland. Along the way, the team even had to pause as a herd of cows blocked the road, waiting for them to pass while racing against the clock to finish the installation before daylight faded.

All three SensorSticks are now successfully transmitting data, strengthening environmental monitoring in the area.

Well done to everyone involved!
